Britt Lovell

Britt Lovell was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She began her formal dance training under the master teachers Louise Mandel and Sheila Rozzane at the former Pacific Dance Academy. At the young age of 16 she moved to Chicago to further pursue her dance career. During her time in Chicago she danced many Balanchine ballets including Agon, Concerto Barocco, Divertimento No 15, Rubies, Serenade, Square Dance, Stars and Stripes, Walpurisnacht, and Who Cares. She also performed several contemporary works. 

In Chicago she began her teaching career, she has been teaching students of all ages over the past 15 years. Her students have been accepted into many prestigious summer programs and full year programs with scholarships including Royal Ballet, School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Ballet West, Boston Ballet, Miami City Ballet, and many more. They have gone on to be professional dancers, D1 athletes, doctors, lawyers, and so much more. 

She has also been a private ballet coach for dancers all across the county and has coached several dancers that have competed and placed in Youth American Grand Prix. She has also choreographed countless ballets and solos. 

Today, Britt co-owns Lovell Arts with her wonderful husband and together they are bringing their love of music and dance together. 

Britt started the dance side of Lovell Arts to focus on supplemental and specialized dance training. To help dancers unlock their full potential. 

One of her strongest beliefs is that dance is for everyone. She has worked with dancers who have become professional ballerinas,  D1 athletes, physical disabilities, mental health struggles, and much more.
