Heady Lovell
Artist, musician, producer, and engineer Heady Lovell was born in Cleveland, Ohio. At an early age, reluctantly attending his grandfather's Baptist church services inspired an affinity for/ fixation on music and the instruments that made it. Though Monday-Saturday he would jam to the contemporary tunes of Hip Hop and R&B, his Sundays were full of melodic and spirit-provoking gospel selections. These dichotomous patterns of musical inspiration and life lessons received therein is what helped mold Heady Lovell into the musician he is today.
Having earned a Bacholor of Arts degree in Music Production from Berklee College of Music with magna cum laude honors, and over two decades of professional experience in the music industry, Heady Lovell has worked in a multitude of genres including hip hop, R&B, heavy/punk/alt rock, gospel, folk, and electronic music. Artists that Heady Lovell has worked with include Apollo, Apache Grosse, Quisol, Liam Scheaffer, DJ D-Jones, The Red Army, DC King of Hearts, and more.
Aside from music, Heady Lovell has been shooting photography professionally for over 15 years. In the past, clients have ranged from home insulation companies to luxury automobile dealearships, and almost everything in between. Specializing in action, portrait, and landscape photography, Heady Lovell has shot for fashion magazines, NBA games, high school football games, and college/club rugby matches, dance competitions and exhibitions, and live concerts. He has a background in photo and video processing and editing. Currently, on the videography side, Heady focuses mainly on music videos, short films, and audition videos.
